Tips on Interview

                  By an Interviewer

👉🏻 1) I don't care about your resume Startups want to hire you not for what you have done in the past, but for what you can potentially do in the future. 👉🏻 2) Do not oversell Instead, undersell & prove otherwise. 👉🏻 3) When you are entering a different domain than your studies, have a project/experience to show your interest. At least a book you have read. Or, blog you follow. You must show your willingness to learn. 👉🏻 4) Beat the nervousness Either, be nervous & stop hiding it. Or, don't be nervous. Being nervous & trying to hide makes it worse. 👉🏻 5) Don't ask questions. Ask smart questions "What are the company's policies on holidays?" No ❌ "If I am hired, what would my typical day be like?" Yes ✔️ 👉🏻 6) Silence is better than rambling On the other side, if you are solving a problem, it's better to speak your thoughts. 👉🏻 7) Have something unique about you. Anything. It could be you are exceptional at gaming. Could be you have 10k followers on Quora. Find a way to include this in the discussion. 👉🏻 7) Be quick & quirky Interviewers are not always looking for the perfect answer but how the person handles stressful situations.
